Why Hire a Husband-and-Wife Wedding Coordination Team?

When I first started Sage & Satin Events, I never imagined it would eventually become something my husband and I would build together.

What began as my passion for creating calm, beautifully organized wedding days naturally evolved as Anthony became more involved. At first, he was simply an extra set of hands when I needed him. But wedding after wedding, I realized just how valuable it was having someone beside me who understood how I work, could anticipate what needed to happen next, and cared just as much about giving our couples an incredible experience.

Somewhere along the way, Sage & Satin quietly became a husband-and-wife team—and honestly, it just works.

Two Coordinators. One Team.

There are so many moving pieces happening at once on a wedding day.

While I'm checking in with the bride, communicating with vendors, managing the timeline or preparing everyone for the ceremony, Anthony can be helping the groom and groomsmen, assisting vendors, repurposing décor, troubleshooting technology or handling something unexpected elsewhere.

It means we can divide and conquer without taking attention away from our couple—and often, it's the things our couples never even know happened that make us feel like we've done our job well.

I remain the Founder & Lead Coordinator and your primary contact throughout the coordination process. I create your timeline, communicate with your vendors, lead your rehearsal and oversee the flow of your wedding day. Anthony provides that second layer of support that allows us to be in two places when we need to be.

More Than Managing a Timeline

Wedding coordination is about so much more than keeping the day on schedule.

It's noticing when something hasn't arrived. Making sure your wedding party knows where to be. Checking that the reception is ready before guests enter. Helping with a dress, moving décor, answering vendor questions and quietly solving the unexpected.

And ideally?

You don't know about most of it.

Because while we're taking care of everything behind the scenes, you're busy getting married.

You Planned the Wedding. Now It's Time to Enjoy It.

Beginning 4–6 weeks before your wedding, we step into the final stages of your planning and bring everything together. We get to know you, your vendors, your vision and what matters most so that when your wedding day arrives, you can confidently hand everything over.

Our goal isn't to take over the wedding you've worked so hard to plan. It's to protect the experience you've created so you can actually enjoy it.

Watching Sage & Satin evolve into something Anthony and I now share has been one of the most unexpected and rewarding parts of this journey.

We're there to support you, advocate for you and quietly take care of the details so you can focus on what your wedding day is really about—marrying your person and being fully present with the people you love most.

And now, I get to do that with mine beside me. 🤍
